A humanitarian crisis of Biblical proportions now threatens the island nation of Haiti. Famine, diseases, drought, deforestation and crippling poverty are the everyday companions of the poorest of Haiti’s population of 8 million people. Absent a massive and immediate infusion of food, medicines and water purification measures, hundreds of thousands of children and youth will die. Although some aid is being provided to Haiti, additional assistance is needed from its more prosperous neighboring countries in order to save these precious lives.

And yet, there still exists an inextinguishable sense of hope and optimism in the Haitian people. A hope that they will not be forgotten by the world, and the belief that they will be able to pursue their dreams for their families with dignity.

It is with this spirit of supporting hope with dignity that we humbly collaborate to launch The Care For Haiti Music Project.
