MISSION STATEMENT
Yéle Haiti and CARE work to address health, education and hunger; and both organizations place a special emphasis on poor working women who have the potential to build a better future for themselves and their communities. Through this campaign, women are highlighted as natural resources to heal the land from AIDS, poverty and illiteracy.Women are at the heart of these efforts because their empowerment can be a turning point for impoverished communities. As long as women struggle against oppression and injustice, families, communities and societies will continue to fall short of their full potential. When women are empowered to realize their rights, they have the ability to transform families and communities.
